General information

The guides, tips and comparisons on BeamQR are provided for general information. We aim to keep them accurate and up to date, but features, prices and plan limits of other services change often. Please check the official websites of any service we mention before relying on specific details.

QR code scanning

Whether a QR code scans depends on many things outside our control, including print size, colours, contrast, logo size, surface, lighting and the phone or app used to scan it. Size and design recommendations on this site are general guidance. Always test your codes on more than one device before printing them.

File transfers

Transfer speed and reliability depend on your devices, browsers and internet connections. Some networks block peer-to-peer connections. Keep your own copy of any important file you send.

No affiliation

BeamQR is an independent website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, Telegram, Google, Apple, WeTransfer, Dropbox or any other company mentioned on the site. Product and company names are used only to describe compatibility and to compare features, and they remain the trademarks of their owners.
